Beirut Art Fair
Beirut Art fair is one of the fairs I love attending because of the whole vibe of the city! I love Beirut! And the timing of the fair is great, as it is not too humid or too hot around that time.
The fair itself is small, but quite big in it's selection of galleries and artworks. Many international and regional galleries took part, and there was much to buy and see. This year it had the added value of being at the same time and same location as Beirut Design week.
Another great added value is the art evening at the Dibs residence!! Always a great evening of great art and an amazing ambiance. A great way to mix and mingle with artists, art lovers, and collectors. Check out my other sections for more pics and info.
Everything in Beirut is of somewhat close proximity, and September is a great month to walk in Beirut, so do have a tour of the galleries in Ashrafieh, Hamra, and Jumaizeh, and don't miss the installation at Le Gray hotel, which are usually part of the Art Week. And do have a drink at their Gordon's Cafe, which has a view of one of my favorite two trees, monument, and water element. The hotel is a one of the classiest and most elegant, and sophisticated places to stay. And if you want a more hip, rough, and authentic experience, Mar Mikhael is the area to be.
