Group exhibition at Zara Gallery
Zara Gallery at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Amman is a lovely little art gallery with a great roster of local, regional, and international artists. They are actively exhibiting both established and new upcoming talents, and continuously showcase great art.
I attended their opening exhibition From a Different Perspective yesterday, and enjoyed the works of some of my favorite local artists. The established ones, the young, and the ones in between!
Ammar Khammash had his works sold out in a wink of an eye. Everyone fell in love with his small works, and it gave many the chance to own a 'Ammar"!
Hani Alqam had his usual 'local coffee shop scenes' on paper, but also presented some new angle on scenes from Amman's buildings. Nice!
Fadi Haddadin went all colorful, with heavy and thick oil strokes. I truly look forward to the day this young artist finds his niche, as I love his talent and energy.
Rula Atalla and Taghlib Oweis showcased wooden and stone sculptures respectively. Fun and appealing works of art that were admired and bought quickly.
The exhibition runs till April 5.
